Fulani Bead and Brass necklace
This four necklace set is made primarily with the Fulani beads from the African trade. One necklace features an African cast brass disk with a lizard, and the little turquoise bead on the end of the pendant is a Czech Prosser (or Wedding) bead also from the African trade. Each string is a separate necklace; they are separated by 6/0 Czech and Chinese seed beads, with all sterling silver findings. The length of each of the four necklaces is adjustable which makes wearing them very flexible - they can be inside a shirt collar or outside, or choker length or longer.

Jet, Silver, Bone, and "Amber" (Bakelite) necklace
This spectacular two-strand necklace has pieces in it that I have collected since I was in my early teens. The large beautiful "amber" bakelite beads are among my first collected beads. It also contains jet beads from China, and bone beads, both of which are carved similarly. The sterling silver beads are from many places; I believe the ones with the interesting details are from Thailand but I am not sure.

Bone and Silver Necklace
This four-strand necklace is made of pieces collected over many years; Asian carved bone and seed animals, sterling silver beads of all sizes and from many countries, carnelian beads from the African trade (made in Germany more than 70 years ago), and an "amber" bead from the African Trade which is actually bakelite. These bakelite beads were traded in the first half of the 20th century and are beautiful antiques in their own right. The clasp is sterling silver.

Day of the Dead Necklace
El Día de los Muertos is the Mexican Catholic celebration of the Day of the Dead, which traces its origin to the Aztec culture. This two-part necklace features a sterling silver Calavera (Skull) pendant by Lacey with sterling silver "milagros" - figures of hearts, arms, ears, and so forth used by Mexican Catholics in prayers for healing and good fortune. The black beads are volcanic glass, with antique crystal elements and Czech red glass seed beads, as well as rock crystal skulls and beads. This necklace can be worn in separate pieces or together.

Coral, Silver, and Amber Necklace
This necklace is made of glass coral from the African trade (made in Venice most likely, between 70-100 years ago), two types of Baltic amber, sterling silver beads from Thailand, and 6/0 Czech seed beads in gold and red. The clasp is sterling silver.
